Salt & freshly ground black pepper
Optional aromatics to stuff inside turkey (such as whole garlic cloves, quartered onion, cut lemons, oranges, or apples, etc.)
1 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup hot water
8 strips bacon
1/4 cup flour
3 cups chicken stock/broth (OR turkey stock/broth)
1/2 lemon
